http://suprememastertelevision.com/ I like this site's header and how they incorporate the totality of information it contains including the portrait of the supreme master and then again sitting in meditation depicting the light and sound which is the focal point of this spiritual exercise.. http://godsdirectcontact.org/here again the layout radiates the same peaceful harmony of colors, with a very pleasant calming effect on the viewer...another header is from a site I frequent randomly http://www.gurdjieff-legacy.org/ just because the page emits a storehouse of knowledge compliled through the ages...

HEADER

Tried downloading different font styles from the very artsy to the fartsy and in the end had to stylize an existing font in firefox incorporating the woodstyles into it, which has a pleasing personality on its own and at the same time complimenting the other elements of my header giving it an antique fill projecting the ancient wisdom.

This picture tells a story that might be compliled for publication. It is complete by itself and to crop it might ruin the character of the photograph, I saved it as a jpeg better quality with zero smoothing.

This is Santiago, the architecture seem like from a distant planet with the palm trees imported from Chile. Optimized to a gif websnap 128 colors, zero dithering and no transparency.

To view an object without defining it with preconceived ideas is a kind way of understanding the naive playfulness of this normally bright and ambitious youth as she pushes aside all caution to enjoy the moment with merriment and laughter. This is a gif image satelite picture of Hawaii, when seen from above..'tis a small world afterall..a favorite disney tune..

Here is another example of contrasting colors with a small portion of white space overwhelming the outer black background so that the dark background actually compliments and gives way to light. I found a blog that uses a dark background that enhances the play of lights in colors op-art.blogspot.com nothing seems to chase out a large amount of solid dark space better then light as it peeks a flash of glimmer immediately captivating the recesses of the darkest cavities in the back of your brain provoking an enlightening realization and giving emphasis to its immediate surroundings, creating a whirlpool of reaction from it and then again back to its point of origin..

complimentary colors

I chose the darker shade for the background because nothing seems to bring the light out better then darker shades, as it compliments all the warm colors in a dramatic manner...displaying the full spectrum and its extremities...
